Bali To Be The Host Of Miss World 2013 Event Bali Governor, Made Mangku Pastika welcomed Miss World 2011, Ivian Sarcos Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares in his office on Wednesday (25/4). Together with the Venezuelan beauty, Julia Morley (Chairwoman of Miss World Organization), Astrid Ellena (Miss Indonesia) and Hary Tanoesoedibjo (CEO of MNC Group) also attended the meeting.
The 2011 Miss World came to Bali to enjoy the island’s beauty and the rich culture as part of her world trip duty. But apart from that, she also came to make an observation for the next Miss World event, which is going to be held in Bali in 2013. The beauty pageant is scheduled to take place on September 2013 with more than 131 participants from all around the world joining the competition.
Miss World Organization has chosen Bali as the host for the 2013 event because they already saw that Bali has proven to be successful in hosting many international events in the past. The decision to make Bali as the host of Miss World 2013 competition also received many positive responses from most countries that participate in the event.
On this occasion, Pastika also expressed his appreciation to Miss World Organization for choosing Bali as a host. This event will be added to the long list of other international events which are going to take place in Bali in 2013. Some of the big events include World Culture Forum, APEC Conference and Bali Democracy Forum. Bali Govenrment promises that it would keep up the maximum effort in providing the facilities needed to accommodate those big events.
